Necklace is 18 inches.
At the Ivory Coast of Africa, old beer bottles were ground up.
The glass powders were then used by bead makers to sand cast beads. We
took these wonderful old beads, (from the early 1900s) and made this great
luscious necklace.
It is a great feeling to wear a piece like this and think of the people
who gathered the old bottles, who ground up the glass, who made the beads.
How lucky we are to have a necklace like this to share in this part of
history.
