Hallie Jane is a fun piece. It is a pin, a necklace. a carrier of Islamic script and a lady with a wonderful smile.
The large stone is carnelian. It is from Afghanistan, from about the 1920s. It has Islamic scrip inscribed. We had several of these, but this is the last we own. I believe this to be a writing from the Koran.
The color of the carnelian is wonderful, a deep dark red, as only seen in the old carnelian.
The smaller stone is Fire Agate. It has great color and depth. As you move the stone in the light you see other colors.
Her face is of carved mammoth fossil. The fossil material is found in northern Canada and St. Lawrence island off Alaska. It was carved in Bali. The face has a great sweet smile, She is handmade designer art jewelry
