Angela Fisher's book, "Africa Adorned".
It is called gold wash and is actually gold that is electroplated
over silver. Amazing to think this was done in the mountains
of Afghanistan, without electricity.
This piece is well over 100 years old.
These are truly museum pieces. They have disappeared off
the market as that country went into so many problems.
It is a piece to be worn, to be displayed, but to be proud of.
