This piece is from Afghanistan, probably over 100 years old.
The
Turkoman groups roamed central asia. This piece is probably Yumond
tribe. The reds in this is piece are glass. It has a hook on one
side so at one time was part of a 2 piece closing for a garment.
It would be great to use for a necklace as you could tie to the hook
on one side and the loop on the other. With the long dangles it
would be a knockout necklace.
