ethnic pendants - tribal and ethnographic Jewelry
The Turkoman jewelry of Afghanistan , and especially the Teke tribal jewelry is, in my estimation, the finest of the fine art jewelry of the world. The jewelry on this page is from about the first 30 years of 1900. The first two on this page are Teke and are silver with a gold on top of the silver. The gold is applied with a method called "guilding by fire". The third piece is probably Yomund Turkoman
